Introductory and introductory activities to storytelling and Beijing opera
Enthralled by theatre and performance, I was fortunate enough to train with Professor Robert Reid, who teaches performance at Concordia University. I also acquired public speaking skills as a lecturer, earning the title of DTM - Distinguished Toastmasters (the highest distinction awarded by Toastmasters International) after 9 years of experience. Today, I want to pass on the pleasure of storytelling to children.

Storytelling workshop, Humanity's Oldest Art
From age 6
Duration: 45 - 60 min
Participants begin by relaxing and getting a feel for the stage. I then present a traditional Chinese tale adapted to the age of the participants. Youngsters can make the story their own, using their five senses.

Artist's Note
I'm originally from China, a country where fairy tales have held a special place since childhood, like a gentle breeze that caresses awakening souls. I spent long hours, day after day, listening to the spellbinding stories that lulled my adolescence. But after more than 20 years away from home, I've come to realize that Chinese storytelling remains largely unknown throughout the world. Yet China, with over 5000 years of history, is full of treasures that can inspire and enlighten our lives.
Guided by a burning passion, I want to share with the world the great classics of Chinese literature that have stood the test of time, as well as the marvels of traditional art, on an imaginary journey through my country. I hope this journey will reveal all the beauty and poetry of the Chinese soul and inspire everyone to find their own path in life.
