My father used to say...

When I was a child, my father would show me the books by Balzac, Zola, and Alexandre Dumas on the bookshelf. He told me that to truly understand France, it wasn’t enough to learn the language, you had to discover its writers, its films, its music, and its cuisine. It is through these works and experiences that we gradually come to understand a people’s way of thinking and living.

Today, China is part of our daily lives. But beyond the objects themselves, do we truly understand its history, its cultural imagination, and the values that have shaped its culture?

Our artistic approach was born out of a desire to help people discover a vibrant and human side of China. We bring together the great classics of Chinese literature and the treasures of traditional art with contemporary creation, in order to offer audiences a theatrical experience where heritage and creativity converge. Through our productions, we aim to bring cultures closer together, spark curiosity, and forge connections between people. For discovering how other cultures live, create, and pass on their traditions helps us better understand what sets us apart and what unites us.
