The Show
We invite you into a world where magic and humor come together, a captivating first step into the richness of Asian literature, inspired by one of the greatest Chinese classics: Journey to the West.
It all begins when the monk Tripitaka sets out on a for the sacred scriptures. Along the way, he meets some unexpected companions: the Monkey King, cunning and indomitable; Piggy, lazy and gluttonous; and Sha Seng, silent and resolute.
Little by little, alliances form and tensions arise: each reveals their true character, and the unlikely team takes shape.

Both funny and touching, the show combines Pingshu (the Chinese art of storytelling), Beijing opera (a UNESCO Intangible Cultural Heritage), guzheng music, shadow puppetry, and Western theatrical techniques.
